Whether it is a Mediterranean feast, a local wedding celebration, a comforting winter soup, or a refreshing glass of homemade hibiscus juice on a summer day, the Azahara Kitchen, headed by Chef Nabil has been at the heart of community life here in the Andalusian Mountains. It serves as a gathering place where volunteers, locals, and visitors gather throughout the seasons to cook, share stories and explore traditional cuisines.
However, it is no longer sufficient to meet the needs of a growing community. During the summer, temperatures can soar to 45 degrees, making conditions extremely difficult —especially with ageing equipment. An upgrade is needed to ensure the space thrives and continues its heart-warming tradition of welcoming & feeding people.
